QuikClot® Control+ is an advanced hemostatic dressing designed for the temporary control of severe internal organ space bleeding (Class III or Class IV hemorrhage) during surgical and trauma procedures.
It is a proprietary hemostatic technology, specially formulated for severe internal bleeding, consisting of a nonwoven material impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that activates Factor XII and accelerates the body’s natural clotting ability.
By supporting faster bleeding control, it helps improve surgical field visualization and supports clearer identification of areas requiring definitive repair. The dressing is applied using the same techniques as standard laparotomy pads and surgical gauze and can be placed directly on active bleeding.
It is suitable for a wide range of internal organ space and large soft-tissue bleeding scenarios, including abdominal, thoracic, pelvic and retroperitoneal packing, as well as major trauma-related injuries.
