A plastic cutting ring provides active audible and tactile feedback during firing, while the lower profile anvil enables smooth entry and exit with enhanced ergonomics and reliability. The device incorporates a patented yellow auto-release safety function, which automatically alerts the user through a clear audible “click” when the red indicator reaches the green window during anvil head compression.
The NOVA™ Circular Stapler offers controllable staple height, with staples ranging from 1.0 to 2.5 mm, enabling closure of different tissue thicknesses. A unique staple cutting feature helps prevent staple sticking and supports perfect anastomosis. The skin-proof wing nut knob assists with opening and closing of the anvil, while the spacer tab, including ancillary trocar, supports double stapling technique.
